There will be a special Mass of Remembrance on Friday, November 6th at 7:00PM for....REMEMBERING THOSE WE HAVE LOST
THE FLU AND LITURGICAL REMINDERS
In accordance with the directives of the Pennsylvania Bishop’s Conference we will observe the following practices at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church during the flu season......SITTING IN THE HALL
Please make sure the main church is filled to capacity before heading for the hall. The only mass that is overflowing at this point is the 8:30AM on Sunday morning. On Saturday afternoon the hall is not even heated or lighted because we have not had an overflowing issue at that mass. Once the hall is opened, we have to heat it and we lose heat in the church. Ushers should be seating folks especially as the church begins to fill up. They will open the hall if necessary.
FOOD COLLECTIONS FOR THE NEEDY
Our food drive for the needy is not going as planned.
